ENERGY POLICY ACT 2005 & TAX CREDITS:
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 became available to homeowners, businesses, and
manufacturers on January 1, 2006.
It provides a variety of tax credits for
the purchase of energy efficient buildings and imporovements to existing
buildings.

CALIFORNIA'S TITLE 22:
According to California's Title 22 (division 4.5, chapter 11, section
66261.50), all fluorescent lamps, compact fluorescent lamps, metal halide
lamps, high and low pressure sodium lamps, and mercury vapor lamps are
considered hazardous waste due to the mercury contained. Permlight's
LED luminaires provide a safer energy-saving alternative without the
dangers of mercury.

BUILDING GREEN:
On November 9, 2005, BuildingGreen announced its annual Top 10 Green
Building Products. Permlight's Enbryten line of general illumination
products made the list.
CALIFORNIA'S TITLE 24:
In October of 2005 the California Energy Commission set new residential and commercial building codes that significantly changed the way lighting is implemented in homes and hotels.
Permlight's general illumination products have been tested by the California Lighting Technology Center and have been shown to be in excess of 40 lumens per watt (LPW). Title 24 states that any luminaire that has an input wattage marked on a permanently installed UL label that is less than 15 watts must be greater than 40LPW to be considered high efficacy
