LED LIGHT FIXTURES:

LED's are the only non-incandescent light source that do not rely on mercury vapor. Efficacy has increased dramatically in recent years--to over 50 lumens per watt for today's best white LEDs. LEDs also have a very long life: from 30,000 to 50,000 hours.
